I’ve been writing a lot of new music recently and have also revisited a few old tunes I’ve had stirring around in my head. Someone asked me the other day, “Why don’t you play out more often? Don’t you want people to hear your music?” My first thought was that she was right and I should book a few more gigs but my second thought was, “Of course I do! But that’s the beauty of the interwebz.” Don’t get me wrong, nothing compares to the feeling of listening to good live music but I’ve discovered a plethora of insanely talented artists through YouTube, Facebook, SoundCloud, PureVolume, Twitter and other social media platforms and have been able to share my music with people around the world without ever leaving Boston.
