Another Mighty Mystic show, another unforgettable performance! Pound It!
This time the Cavata Crew and some friends hit the road to venture out to a place called The Grog in Newburyport, MA. It was definitely more of an intimate setting but the place was packed to the max with Mystic fans and others ready to party. Everyone was dancing and feeling the reggae vibes so much that it actually reminded me of an episode of True Blood. It was like we were in Bon Temps and Mary Ann had everyone gettin wild under her control! The place even resembled Merlotte’s a little bit.
Stephen Thunder and The Strings of Thunder with special guest of the night, saxophonist Marin Spivack, opened up for Mystic and set the mood. They performed jam after jam including some of my favortites “The Law” and “Keep It Cool”. The Strings of Thunder are truly an attraction of their own these days! Big ups to Marin Spivack who held it down all night on the sax.
Mystic’s set was memorable as always. He even performed one of his new hits “Hero” as an encore and came back for a second encore with the classic song “Fire Town”! Our boy Juice definitely played a huge part in getting them back on the stage.
His methods may not be traditional but they get the job done. Sometimes you just got to headlock somebody to make a point- this kid had no idea what hit him!

Haha, like always it was another awesome time. Juice and Lori ripped up the dance floor the whole night. They know how to keep the crowd amped up without a doubt. Check the after hours ho-down skills!!! Thank you Traci for catching this video gold!
