Last night the Cavata Crew travelled all the way out to Maximum Capacity in Chicopee, MA to support some good music as always. The lineup for the night was insane: Three Legged Fox, Mighty Mystic and Da Fear Nuttin’ Band! It was the Fear Nuttin Band’s Yardcore 2.0 cd release party and yes yes a party it was!

Before the show started we chilled with Mystic and his band The Strings of Thunder for a few drinks and then scooped a nice spot up front.

Up first for the night was Three Legged Fox. It was our second time seeing them in 3 days. I Thought it would be tough for them to top their previous performance but I was wrong…very wrong!
As you know, we’re big fans of 3LF. These guys really have an unbelievable sound, especially live. Each one of their songs had the crowd moving and singing along. They rocked the house and even came back for a encore which was demanded by an amped up crowd. They pretty much set the stage for the rest of the night. They’re awesome guys too and chilled with us for a good portion of the night and even held it down in the parking lot after! Hope they weren’t overwhelmed by our intensity…..must have been all those red bulls.

Next up was our man Mighty Mystic. Like always, Mystic’s performance was high energy and his band The Strings Of Thunder was on point! He performed all of hits including “Fire Town”, “Revolution”, “Riding on The Clouds”, “Better Times” feat. Stephen Thunder (BIG UP YASELF!) “Can’t Pull Me Down” and some new jams including “Slipped Away”

He and his band held it down as always with an awesome set. Must say we did our part in representing the Bean, we didn’t drive an hour and a half to sit on our asses!

Nov. 27th @The Grog in Newburyport, MA
Dec. 6th @Harpers Ferry in Allston MA
Closing out a crazy night was the Fear Nuttin Band. By the time they hit the stage the place was absolutely bumpin! For those who dont know about Fear Nuttin, they’re unlike any other around.

Their sound is completely original and with their musical roots fusing the intensity of metal, the rhythm of Jamaican dance hall and the social consciousness of hip hop, this band is defining a genre. Lori’s previous band, Ivy Hill, once opened up for FNB a few years ago but this was our first time seeing them live and they did not disappoint! By their last song they had people up on the stage with them and everyone else bouncing to the beats! You could feel the floor moving underneath your feet. Big ups to FNB and their new album.
Make sure to check them out and grab their new album, well worth it!
