When Cavata was first launched I had featured a very talented photographer/musician/friend named Christopher Huang. Considering the brand was in its infancy and we really didn’t have a great deal of web traffic I thought I’d re-feature Chris now and hopefully give him the recognition he deserves!
Chris and I are both members of the Afro dz AK All Stars (which is basically a group of musicians/friends who play positive hip-hop, soul shows around the Boston area and are led by the very talented Pete Shungu AKA Afro D!) I first knew Chris an an incredible violin player but then I saw him selling tee shirts with Obama’s image at one of the gigs and thought he might have been starting an apparel brand like myself. Turns out he wasn’t starting a clothing line and the image of Obama was actually a fantastic photo he had taken himself.
If you need photography services, Christopher Huang is your man. I can’t speak highly enough of his work (and his dance moves.) Here are a few select photos that are among my favorites.
